About Me

As a fourth-year student at Louisiana State University, I work as a news producer for LSU’s Tiger TV, where I manage live broadcasts, coordinate with on-air talent, create rundowns, and write television scripts. I have experience in news and sports reporting, which helped me develop strong skills in researching, interviewing, writing, and editing content under tight deadlines. I am proficient in software such as Adobe Premiere and Canva and trained in operating broadcast and camera equipment.

Driven by a strong interest in doing outreach for a sports team, I am dedicated to learning more about the public relations field. I currently intern in digital marketing for the Houston Dynamo. In the past, I have interned in communication and external affairs with the Southern University Law Center and in community relations with Ashley S. Green Consulting. Through my experiences, I learned how to apply search engine optimization and analyze social media engagement.

Along with technical skills, I hold strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, adaptability, and effective communication. I've worked collaboratively on live news and sports coverage, honing my ability to think quickly and solve problems in fast-paced environments.

My passion for sports communication and storytelling is driven by a natural curiosity and desire to explore the “why” behind every story. This passion fuels my commitment to deliver exciting and informative content that resonates with large audiences.

I am dedicated to growing as a professional, and I look forward to opportunities or internships that challenge me to expand my knowledge and skills in mass communication. My goal is to take my skills into the sports world and contribute meaningful content that can inspire change and leave a lasting impact on the industry for the women who come after me.
